We’ve all known about Japanese streetwear for the last 10 years or so, but not really any non-Japanese brands have made it internationally. In recent times though, we have seen a variety of Korean brands grow. What makes Korean brands interesting is that exclusivity doesn’t play a large role, they focus on having the best product at the best price point as the market is very competitive. Some of the better ones are Thisisneverthat, Knave, Ader Error, Vei-8, and HI FI FNK. Some of these brands have reached the international market, others you have to order straight from Korea, but stores and companies like the Fig Collective, a Brooklyn based showroom, are making it easier to access these brands. Korea is a place to keep an eye out for in the coming years for streetwear.
